Scope and Contents
The Assorted newspapers series, 1805-1945, contains historical newspapers that describe the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln, President Franklin D. Roosevelt's death, World War II battles, the end of the war in Germany, and other news of the day. Four bulletins written in Latin are included in the series.

The Baltimore News-Post is brittle around the crease. The New York Herald is very fragile and split down the middle. It should remain in its protective sleeve.
