Scope and Contents
Patricia Murphy, SSND led an oral history project in 1989 to interview faculty, staff, alumni, and others connected with the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. She conducted the interviews and edited transcripts created by Frances Nilsson. This project was intended to inform the writing of a history of the college. This series includes all known versions of the interviews, including print transcripts, analog recordings, and digital recordings.

Access is restricted to education records of living students or former students, as defined by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, unless the student or former student grants access in writing. If it is not possible to verify date of death, the student will be assumed to be deceased 80 years after date of graduation, or date of last attendance.
In some cases, oral histories may be restricted by the interviewee, or the lack of a consent form makes the interviewee's wishes unclear. In these cases public access to the interview is restricted.
Biographical / Historical
Patricia Todd Warth is a member of the class of 1948 of the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. She returned to the college as a biology lab instructor in 1963. She has always been very involved in the Alumnae Association. At the time of the interview, she was ending her tenure in the biology department to take a position in the alumnae office.
