Scope and Contents

From the Series:

The Personal and professional files series, 1929-2005 and undated, consists largely of files Varga created in the course of his employment at Loyola University Maryland. These include documents relating to his study of Loyola history, course syllabi and teaching materials, work in the History department, and service on various university committees such as the Faculty Council. Personal files in this series include CVs, awards and certificates, and memorial programs. Box 5 contains scrapbooks compiled by Varga that document his military service, college days, and highlights of his long career at Loyola.

This collection is open for research, with the exception of the Memoirs series. This series is closed to the public until January 2055. Researchers may request access to this series for research purposes only and are restricted from publishing quotations from the memoirs in whole or in part.
