Biographical / Historical

The Block L Club, founded in 1941, was a student varsity letter club. According to its constitution, the purpose of the Block L Club was "to promote good fellowship among the athletes of Loyola College, and to aid and abet the athletic activities of the College." Membership was open to any Loyola student who won a letter, major or minor, in intercollegiate competition.
