Abstract

The Women's rights poster collection, circa 1970-1976, is a collection of posters with topics including women leaders, the Equal Rights Amendment, and sexism.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

This collection was transferred to the Archives by Notre Dame of Maryland University's office of Alumnae and Alumni Engagement in 2024. The collection arrived to the Archives in a mailing tube originally sent from the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC to the National Organization for Women - Southern Prince George's County in November 1976. It is unknown how the posters came to be at Notre Dame of Maryland University.
