Immediate Source of Acquisition

The Weight of Toulouse was donated to the College of Notre Dame of Maryland in November 1965 by Elizabeth Medinger, a 1931 graduate. Medinger received the weight from a friend of her uncle, who found it in the garden of his summer home in the south of France.
