Mr. Lincoln’s Arbitrary Arrests. The Acts which the Baltimore Platform Approves. Document No. 13. [New York?], n.d.

 File — Box: 1

Scope and Contents

From the Series:

This series contains a collection of pamphlets concerning the Civil War and memorials to Lincoln after his assassination. Montgomery collected pamphlets found in George Thomas Ritchie’s A List of Lincolniana in the Library of Congress, 1903. A copy of Ritchie’s list is in the collection and is marked with Montgomery’s notes and additions. The container list includes the pamphlets currently in the collection, although the annotated list shows Montgomery once may have had more. Montgomery also collected pamphlets relating to the Civil War. A list of those follows the Lincoln pamphlet bibliography. Most of the pamphlets in this series have been digitized by other institutions and are available online.
