Scope and Contents
The Paul Peroutka collection, 1986-1987, consists of two compilations of his poetry and narratives entitled Walking Papers and Arts and Entertainment, a portfolio of his paintings and related narratives entitled Tugurio, and a list of all written works included in the original tour collection. Two of Peroutka's paintings, "Nars" and "Angie Lake," appear to be former scrapbook pages. The lid to Peroutka's three book collection is included in the collection. The compilation books and artwork portfolio are labeled "Orson and Queen York Underground present" to acknowledge the group's sponsorship of Peroutka's Baltimore-area tour in the late-1980s.
