Non-New York theatre playbills, 1924-1997

The Theatre playbills collection, 1924-2022, contains theater programs and copies of Playbill Magazine from theatre productions in New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, Washington, D.C., Illinois, California, Massachusetts, London, and Paris. Each playbill contains the name of the play, its cast members, and local advertisements from the era. Many playbills from the 1920s through the 1960s contain the name of the play, the name of the collector's guest(s) that day or of featured actors, the cost of the seat, and a rating from one to ten.
