Biographical / Historical
Damozel is Notre Dame of Maryland University's student-run literary magazine which showcases poems, short fiction and nonfiction essays, artwork, and photographs. Students and alumnae are both eligible to submit their creative works to the publication. The first publication called Damozel was a yearbook, and appeared at Notre Dame in 1923. From the 1930s until 1949, students published both a yearbook and a literary magazine with the title Damozel.
