Scope and Contents
The oral histories in this series were conducted by students in the "Dynamics of History" class taught by Dr. Susan Barber in the Department of History. Consent forms are housed together with the print transcripts. Oral histories have been restricted if a corresponding consent form could not be located. This series includes all known versions of the interviews, including analog and digitized recordings, original print transcripts, and more recent digital transcripts.

Conditions Governing Access

Access is restricted to education records of living students or former students, as defined by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, unless the student or former student grants access in writing. If it is not possible to verify date of death, the student will be assumed to be deceased 80 years after date of graduation, or date of last attendance.
In some cases, oral histories may be restricted by the interviewee, or the lack of a consent form makes the interviewee's wishes unclear. In these cases public access to the interview is restricted.
