Biographical / Historical
Delta Mu Delta (DMD) is the “National Business Honor Society.” According to the Notre Dame website, the organization “recognizes academic excellence and creates a community that fosters the well-being of members and the business community through life-time membership.” DMD was founded by the Dean from Harvard University and four professors from Yale University and New York University in November 1913. Notre Dame’s Epsilon Rho chapter was installed on December 2, 1990 by James F. Griffin, DMD’s Vice President for Extension and Development.
