Biographical / Historical

According to the organization's bylaws, Kymry's purpose "shall be to generate and perpetuate the spirit of loyalty and good comradeship, within the entire student body, via the coordination of the traditional activities of the college whether on or off campus." Kymry planned Parents' Weekend, Charles Street Parade (optional), Tree Trim, The Winter Ball, and Maintenance Appreciation Day (optional). From 1986-1988, Kymry organized Sing Song. Kymry is a Welsh word meaning camaraderie or friendship.
