Biographical / Historical
According to 1977-1978 by-laws, the Judicial Board, also known as the Honor Board, acted as the Judicial Branch of the Student Government to interpret and enforce the Honor Agreement. In the early years, the Judicial Board was run by students with a faculty adviser.
According to the University Student Handbook, revised in July 2018, the Honor Board means a body of community members (elected faculty and students and appointed staff) who hear cases of alleged violation. The Honor Board is now part of the University judicial system.
