A typewritten note included in the relic box reads "Sisters, a first-class relic of Blessed Alix Le Clerc has been presented to the College by Mere Marie Lucienne of the Canonesses of St. Augustine of the Congregation of Notre Dame. It has been placed at the foot of the crucifix here, so that you may venerate it, if you wish. This is a portion of bone; Blessed Alix's body was recovered only three years ago, having been lost at the time of the French Revolution."
