Scope and Contents
The Loyola University Maryland audiovisual collection, 1938-2015, consists of audio recordings, videos, films, and data files documenting the history of the university. The documented events include commencements, college president inaugurations, athletic games, Lattanze Center meetings, lectures, conferences, interviews, and Loyola commercials broadcast on local news stations. The collection contains items in the following formats: VHS, DVD, audiocassette, compact discs, 16mm film, floppy disks, betacam, U-matic, phonograph records, and mini data cartridges. Two videos in Hi8 and D-2 formats can be found within the collection.
