Biographical / Historical

The International Relations Club (IRC) was established at Loyola College during the 1936-37 academic year. The IRC's aim was to foster an interest in international affairs. According to the organization's 1945 constitution, IRC's purpose was "to promote the discussion of current events of international importance" and "to promote the cause of peace by fostering a better understanding of the conditions necessary for peace."
