Event planning (university function)

The Center for the Humanities was established in 1983 through the generosity of many donors and of the National Endowment for the Humanities. It exists to provide strength and vision to the humanities at Loyola University Maryland. The Loyola University Maryland Center for the Humanities records, dated 1985 to 1996, include annual reports, newsletters, correspondence, meeting minutes, memoranda, event flyers and pamphlets, sabbatical proposals and programs and policies manuals.

The purpose of the "Class of 19xx" student organization was to plan for and conduct the non-academic affairs of its respective class. Each class had its own organization under the organization's bylaws. This collection, dated 1912-1997, consists of correspondence, meeting minutes, event programs, news clippings, class representative lists, and class songs.

The Notre Dame of Maryland University student organizations records document student organizations for which the archives has only a small amount of records. The collection, dated 1912-2010, consists of founding documents, correspondence, meeting minutes, programs, brochures, flyers, posters, news clippings, photographs, scrapbooks, and student publications.
